Marian Hunt

Mrs. Marian Smith Hunt, 84 of Morehead, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in the Ridgeway Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Owingsville, Kentucky after an extended illness. She was born in Rowan County, Kentucky on April 14, 1936 to the late Marion Anderson Smith and Ada Susan Lands Smith Blevins.

Marian was retired from General Motors in Ypsilanti, Michigan after 30 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, antiques, yards sales and spending time with her family and friends. She was of the Baptist faith.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Bruce Hunt who died on November 24, 1995. Her step-father, William R. Blevins, seven brothers, Jack C. L. Smith, Bill Smith, Robert "Toodle" Smith, J. Albert Blevins, Junior Blevins, Oather L. Blevins and Hilton Blevins. Two sisters; Mary Evelyn Smith Clark and Jalaina Smith. Also a grandson, Ronald Lee Kelsey.

Survivors include one son, Noah David Kidd of Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Two daughters; Deborah Sue LeMaster of Dearborn Heights, Michigan and Joyce A. Kidd of Morehead, Kentucky. One brother, Charles Blevins of Flatrock, Michigan.

Six grandchildren; Michael Kent Kelsey, Shane LeMaster, Sarah LeMaster, Jariod Kidd, Vanessa Lynn Kidd and Brian Kidd. Also a host of great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 11, 2020 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Pastor Andy Lands officiating.

Burial will follow in the Fultz Cemetery on Christy Creek.

Family and Friends will serve as pall bearers.
