Mrs. Mae Smith Calvert Hall, 91, of Farmers, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015 in the Life Care Center.
She was born on June 28, 1923 in Farmers, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Lucian and Pearl Vanderpool Smith.
Mrs. Hall had been the owner and operator of Hall's Camper and Bait Shop and a former employee of The Big Store and Model Laundry.
She was a member of the Farmers Christian Church and she enjoyed flower gardening, vegetable gardening, cooking and baking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Ed Calvert, her second husband, Ralph Hall, her son, Paul Edwin Calvert, who passed away on December 31, 1976, one brother, Tom Smith and two sisters, Mary Alice Nelson and her twin sister, Carrie King.
Survivors include her grandson, Michael Edwin Calvert of Morehead and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 10, 2015 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Shelby Lawson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Carey Hill Cemetery at Farmers.
Visitation is after 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
