Mrs. Madeline C. Fouch, 97, of Christy Creek Road, Morehead, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012 in the Fleming County Hospital.
She was born on January 10, 1915 in Morgan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Sam Henry Collins and Lucy Blair Collins.
Mrs. Fouch was a homemaker, who enjoyed quilting, cross stitching, crocheting, cooking, canning, gardening and flowers. She was a very active member of the Elliottville Baptist Church, where she had previously served as treasurer, formerly taught Sunday School, helped with Bible School and sang in the choir for 20 years. Mrs. Fouch was a member of the Birthday Club and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Fouch, who passed away on July 4, 1987, four brothers, Homer Collins, Glen Collins, Leewood Collins and Clyde Collins and two sisters, June Fairchild and Norma Fairchild.
Survivors include one son, Bob Fouch and his wife, Ruth of Morehead, one daughter, Diane Fouch Black and her husband, Phillip of Morehead, four grandchildren, Roger (Debbie) Fouch, Debbie (Rick) Perry, Kelly (Shane) Dickerson and Shannon (Crystal) Black, six great-grandchildren, Brandy Wagoner, Michael Fouch, Spencer Griggs, Delaney Griggs, L'Shae Black and Tanner Black, four great-great-grandchildren, Madalynn Wagoner, Rylee Wagoner, Parker Fouch and Peyton Fouch and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 10, 2012 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Pastor Willie Sturgill and Larry Robinson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lee Cemetery.
Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Roger Fouch, Shannon Black, Rick Perry, Brian Wagoner, Michael Fouch, Spencer Griggs, Shane Dickerson and Tom Debord.
