Lucille Fraley Archer

Lucille Fraley Brewer Archer, 83 of Morehead, Kentucky passed away peacefully Sunday, February 20, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born February 10, 1939, in Rowan County, Kentucky to the late Mastin and Lillie Click Fraley.

Lucille was a homemaker, a member of the Haldeman Church of God and enjoyed quilting, crocheting, cooking, gardening, flowers and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers, a son-in-law, Delmane Simmons, one granddaughter-in-law, Jennifer Young Hinton and one grandson-in-law, Mitchell Ray Layne.

Survivors include her lifelong companion, Roy Archer. Four children, Deborah (Ivan) Grimshaw, Shirley Simmons and Jimmy (Judy) Brewer all of Morehead and Robin (Randy) Razor of Owingsville, Kentucky. One special grandson she raised from birth Joseph (Brandy) Brewer. Two brothers, Ronald Fraley of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Cecil Fraley of Morehead, Kentucky. Sisters, Hildreth Whitt of Somerset, Kentucky, Judy Layne of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Barbara Sue Hargett of Morehead, Kentucky and Mable Fields of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Charlene Fraley of Morehead, Kentucky. Eighteen grandchildren, forty-two great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, February 24, 2022, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Jason Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow in the New Sill Cemetery at Haldeman, Kentucky.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 12 Noon Thursday.

Serving as pall bearers will be Randy Razor, Ivan Grimshaw, Patrick Simpson, Bryson Simpson, Dylan Midkiff and Matthew Layne.

Honorary pall bearers will be Ray Kirby and J. R. Grimshaw.
