Logan Manning Willoughby, 66 of Sandy Hook, passed away Friday evening at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead after an extended illness.
He was born in Montgomery County, Kentucky on January 9, 1953 to the late Dudley and Mary Lilly Jones Willoughby.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Tonya Willoughby Fraley, six brothers and one sister.
Logan was a retired farmer and factory worker and enjoyed watching westerns and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Bernice Sloan Willoughby, four sons, Donnie (Barb) Willoughby of Morehead, David (Amanda) Willoughby of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Anthony (Wanda) Willoughby of Owingsville and Timmy (Tammy) Willoughby of Sandy Hook. One brother, Dallas (Patsy) Willoughby of Mt. Sterling. A son-in-law, Larry Fraley of Sandy Hook, ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Justin Perkins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Trent Cemetery.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 6:00 pm Tuesday.
Pall bearers will be David Willoughby, Donnie Willoughby, Anthony Willoughby, Logan Willoughby, Larry Fraley and Evan Fraley.
