Lisa Mischelle Black Hoover, 45, of Nashville, Tennessee formerly of Morehead, Kentucky, went to be with our Father in Heaven on Monday, October 3, 2022, at her residence in Nashville.
She was born on September 19, 1977 in Morehead, Kentucky, a daughter of Pamela Cox Bowman and Glennis Black.
She was a graduate of Rowan County Senior High School and she attended Morehead State University, as well as the University of Kentucky. Lisa was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority.
She loved her two beautiful children, Kaden and Emmy more than anything.
Lisa blessed this world with her smile, beauty and laughter. She loved the beach, all things fashion and Alabama Crimson Tide Football.
Lisa was the girl who could always light up a room. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents and aunts, as well as, her husband, Christopher Clark Hoover.
Survivors include her children, Kaden Clark Hoover and Emerson Avery Hoover; along with her mother and stepfather, Pamela and Ray Bowman and her father, Glennis Black; along with, Gary Bowman and Randy Bowman, her aunt, Patricia Carter (Paul), many cousins and her best friend, Mona Lewis Juett.
Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the Bowman Cemetery with Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Gary Bowman, Randy Bowman, Tanner Bowman, Mason Davis and Daniel Cox.
