Mrs. Lillie Mae Stevens Hamm, 82, of Cranston Road, Morehead, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at her home.
She was born on December 16, 1937 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Thomas and Lenora Sparkman Stevens.
Mrs. Hamm was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Limestone Apostolic Church in Lawton, where she and her husband drove the church bus.
Lillie enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, reading her Bible and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Preston Hamm, who passed away on October 31, 2009, one son, Vince Dwaine Hamm and three brothers, Gary Stevens, Thomas Stevens, Jr. and Bobby Stevens.
Survivors include one son, John Preston Hamm (Mary) of Ewing, four daughters, Bertha Click (Roscoe) and Debra Click (Henry) all of Elliott County, Sandra Rister (Clay) of Morehead and Nora Jane Lewis (John) of Greenup, one brother, Murvil Stevens (Sue) of Morehead, three sisters, Shelby Edwards of Jasper, Alabama and Juanita Moore (Cecil) and Delores Stevens all of Morehead, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 requirements set forth by the state, private graveside services and burial will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 27, 2019 at the Adams-Plank Cemetery with Brother Oscar Riley officiating.
There is no visitation.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
