Leona Pearl Watson Frieszell, 82, of West Carrollton, Ohio formerly of Morehead, passed away Friday morning, June 5, 2020 at her home.
She was born on September 1, 1937 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Ottis and Lissie Ison Watson.
Mrs. Frieszell was a retired nurse’s aid for Children’s Medical Center.
She enjoyed quilting, sewing and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A Frieszell, who passed away on December 14, 2012, five brothers, Lawrence Watson, Ishmael Watson, John Watson, Everett Watson and Bill Watson and two sisters, Luna Marie Levitsky and Helen Eldridge.
Survivors include four sons, David Frieszell of Moody, Texas, Duncan Frieszell of West Carrollton, Ohio, Sammy Frieszell of Nashville, Tennessee and Gurney Frieszell of Lexington, Kentucky, two daughters, Debbie VanHuss of Shreveport, Louisiana and Becky O’Malley of West Carrollton, Ohio, one brother, Paul Watson of Taylorsville, Kentucky, one sister, Mary Adamson of West Union, Ohio, twelve grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at the Clearfield Cemetery with Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 12:00 Noon Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Mark Eldridge, Randy Eldridge, Hiedi Agner, Heather Williams, Jake Frieszell and Elizabeth Rychecky.
