Mr. Leon Jaskot, Jr., of Columbia, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at his home after a long illness.
He was born on February 24, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, a son of the late Leon and Laura Mitchell Jaskot.
Mr. Jaskot served his country in the United States Army and was a Senior Manufacturing Manager at IMO Pump, where he had worked since moving to Columbia in 1999.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Arnold Jaskot.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Walker Jaskot of Columbia, one daughter, MAJ Aimee Mowry and her husband, William Seth Mowry of Vienna, Virginia, his mother-in-law, Edna Ruth Kidd Walker of Morehead, two brothers, Davy Jaskot of Tinley Park, Illinois and Raymond Jaskot of Benton Harbor, Michigan, five sisters, Gerri Rajski of Addison, Illinois, Irene (Cookie) Orlin and Bernadin (Bubu) Jaskot both of LaPorte, Indiana, Melody (Nonnie) Jaskot of Chicago, Illinois and Janice Jaskot of Englewood, Colorado, one grandchild, Gwyneth Mowry and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 28, 2012 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Pastor Darryl Cole and Brother Charles Moore officiating.
Burial will follow in the Crix Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Friday.
