Mrs. Lenora Stigall Bair, 93, of Soldier, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born on July 6, 1916 in Elliott County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late William Harrison Stigall and Chloe Cox Stigall.
Mrs. Bair was a homemaker. She attended the Bairtown Church of God and enjoyed working puzzles, playing cards, especially 500 Rummy and quilting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Bair, who passed away on November 8, 1998, three sons, William Gilbert Bair, who passed away in 1937 and twin infant sons, Elmer and Delmer, who passed away in 1948 and one sister, Roxie Johnson.
Survivors include one son, Burlin Jackson Bair of Soldier, two daughters, Floella Baldridge of Clearfield and Loberta Knipp of Soldier, two brothers, Ledford Stigall of Shelby, Ohio and Lewis Stigall of Mansfield, Ohio, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, February 21, 2010 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Elijah Wagoner and Rev. Justin Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow in the Manning Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Knipp, Danny Knipp, Jason Tackett, Anthony Bair, Burlin Bair, Jr., Stephen Bair, Don Bruce Young III and Jacob Allen Brown.
