Mr. Larry Allen France, 55, of Winchester, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 in the Clark Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Grayson, Kentucky on July 22, 1957 to Willa Bea Adkins France and the late Paul Allen France.
Larry was a carpenter and a former coal miner. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Jenkins, Kentucky and a 1975 graduate of Lafayette High School. He enjoyed fishing, car racing and U.K. basketball.
In addition to his father, Paul Allen France, who passed away on January 25, 1987, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Michael Wheeler.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Long France, his mother, Willa Bea Adkins France of Nicholasville, two daughters, Heather (Jerry) Hicks of Pikeville and Kimberly (Brian) Adams of Virgie, one sister, Brenda Wheeler of Nicholasville, two grandchildren, Haley Adams and Hannah Adams, two nephews, Michael Allen Wheeler and Gerald Wheeler, one niece, Ashley Hatter and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 25, 2012 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Hutchinson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bowen Chapel Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Visitation is after 12:00 Noon Sunday.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
