Kevin Shawn Saylor, 31, of Owingsville, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville.
He was born on February 6, 1982 in Pineville, Kentucky, a son of Johnny Griffith and Bobbie Gail Saylor.
Kevin was a self-employed handyman and attended Means Community Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Christopher Todd Griffith.
Survivors include his mother, Bobbie Gail Saylor of Morehead, his father, Johnny Griffith of Morehead, three daughters, Shauna Michelle Saylor and Savannah Nicole Saylor both of Owingsville and Emma Grace Saylor of Morehead, one step-daughter, Karin Faith Hamilton of Morehead, one step-son, Jackson Newsome of Owingsville, one brother, Kacie Lynn Vancleve of Clearfield, two sisters, Kelly Marie Griffith and Kayla Lovedia Griffith both of Morehead, three nieces and three nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 16, 2013 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Evans officiating.
Burial will follow in the Siloam Cemetery.
Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Blake Collett, Taylor White, Kacie Vancleve, Dusty Saylor, Rusty Saylor and Michael Wilder.
