Kenneth Kidd

Mr. Kenneth B. Kidd was born in Morgan County, Kentucky on January 12, 1929 to the late Albert and Ludy Barker Kidd. He departed this life on May 12, 2007 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky at the age of 78 years and 4 months. Mr. Kidd was a farmer, sawmill worker and logger. He was a veteran of the United States Army having attained the rank of Corporal and was a member of the Oak Hill Church of God. He also enjoyed hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jackie Lee Kidd and two brothers Troy Kidd and Marvin Kidd. He leaves to mourn his passing his family which includes his wife, Essie Trent Kidd. One son, Tony Kidd and wife Janie of Elliott County, Two daughters, Tammy Williams and husband Douglas of Morgan County and Loretta Stamper and husband Brownie of Morehead. Also, a step-daughter, Bernadene Wright and husband Jake of Morehead. Three sisters, Virginia Barker of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, Dorene Wheeler and husband Wayne of Xenia, Ohio and Shirley Jennings and husband Tilmon of Blairs Mill, Kentucky. Seven Grandchildren, Stephanie Kidd, Elisha Harris, Lindsay Williams, John Williams, Chris Stamper, Danielle Stamper and Tara Stamper. Five Step-Grandchildren, Stacy Wilson, Brian Wilson, Stevie Wilson, Jonathon Williams and Amber Wright. Also, Three Great-Grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Madden and Eugene Winkleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Kidd Cemetery at Blairs Mill. Full military rites will be conducted at the graveside by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126. Visitation at Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home is after 6:00 PM Monday. Pallbearers will be Chris Kidd, Billy Jennings, Glendon Harris, Brian Wilson, Stacy Wilson, Stevie Wilson, John Williams, Jonathon Williams and Chris Stamper.
