Kathy Jacobs

Mrs. Kathy Eva Dillon Jacobs, 87, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013 at her home.
Mrs. Jacobs was born and raised in Morehead, KY. She spent a number of years in Cincinatti, OH and Dunedin, FL before moving to Greenville, North Carolina in 2009. She attended Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.
An independent business woman, Kathy successfully operated floral and seamstress businesses for many years. She loved gardening, ballroom dancing and her little dog, Scooby-Doo.
Mrs. Jacobs was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Jacobs; parents, William and Cynthia Dillon; sons, Curtis McNew and Neil Frederick Jacobs; sisters, Flora Awad and Gertrude Dillon; and a brother, Curtis Dillon.
She is survived by her daughters, Eva May Jacobs, Carol June Jacobs Khalilieh and husband, Musallam, Charlotte Jacobs Sharp, and Kathy Marlene; son, Rodney Jacobs and wife, Imelda; grandchildren, Christina, Vanessa, David, and Jonathan Jacobs, Christa and Eisam Khalilieh, Sara Deans, Rachel Hines, and Nathan Sharp; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial will be conducted 1:30 P.M. Friday at the Dillon Cemetery on Dry Creek with Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating.
Visitation at Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home is from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday.
