Mrs. Joanna Slusher Caudill, 81, of Morehead, passed away Monday, September 10, 2012 in the Life Care Center.

She was born in Rowan County, Kentucky on September 27, 1930, a daughter of the late Henry and Bertha Manier Slusher.

Mrs. Caudill was a retired supervisor for Cowden Manufacturing Company after 41 years of service. She was also employed by the State of Kentucky, working at the I-64 Rest Area and had worked at Big Yank. Joanna was of the Church of God faith and she enjoyed reading, fishing, visiting with people and especially spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood "Junior" Caudill, who passed away on October 1, 1997, three brothers, Clarence Slusher, Paris Slusher and Sailor Clayton Slusher and three sisters, Lucy Ferguson, Barbara Slusher and infant, Frances Slusher.

Survivors include her daughter, D. Kay (Mike) Fannin of Morehead, two grandchildren, Dana Lynn Fannin and Jeffrey Todd (Kayla) Fannin, one great-granddaughter, Allie Fannin and several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, September 13, 2012 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Pastor Allan Hutchinson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Ditney Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation is after 4:30 P.M. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Fannin, Mike Thomas, Jackie Thomas, Brad Thomas, Darrell Lykins and Steve Caudill and honorary pallbearers will be Sammy Hall, Denver Lykins, Wayne Johnson and Alex Kiser.
