Joann Day

Joann Thomas Day, 73, of Morehead, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 28, 2020 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

Joann was a member of the Haldeman Church of God, a strong believer in our Lord Jesus Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, and helping others. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Joann was preceded in death by her parents Allie and Golda Williams Thomas, sisters; Juanita Lyons, Mildred Bailey, Ruby Stevens and Freda Thomas. Brothers; Jimmy Thomas, Donnie Thomas, Billy Thomas, Gary Thomas, Bobby Thomas and Hobert (Buck) Thomas.

She is survived by two loving sons, Darrell (Amanda) Davis and Eddie (Kelly) Davis both of Morehead. Two grandsons, Taylor Davis of Erlanger, Kentucky and Mason Davis of Morehead, one granddaughter Taylor Moorehead of Lexington, Kentucky. Two Sisters, Linda Kay Hall of Morehead and Wilma (Bo) McKeown of Indiana, One brother Roger Thomas of Morehead.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 P.M. Friday, January 1, 2021 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Pastor Bobby Day officiating.

Burial will follow in the New Sill Cemetery at Haldeman.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead will be 5 - 7 P.M. Thursday December 31, 2020.

Pallbearers will include; Donnie Hall, Dwayne Davis, Mason Davis, Steve Davis, John Rose and Taylor Davis.

Honorary Pallbearers will include; Robert Russell and Allen Brown.
