Jill Ann Boggs Caudill

Jill Ann Boggs Caudill, 65, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at UK-St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

She was born on July 22, 1959 in Maysville, Kentucky, a daughter of the late James Randall Boggs and Garnet Fisher Boggs.

Jill was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking, canning and gardening.  She was known for making jam, zucchini bread, pimento cheese and strawberry pies.  She also enjoyed reading, celebrating the 4th of July with family and friends, attending family gatherings, watching television, especially “MASH” and disaster movies and spending time with her special grandson, Riley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Tara Lea Barbour. 

Survivors include her husband of 45 years and 8 months, Ralph Caudill, whom she married on December 21, 1978, her second mother, Ruby Whitt Boggs of Morehead, two daughters, Miranda Thomas (Christopher) of Elliottville, Kentucky and Amy Lyons (Radford) of Morehead, one brother, James Ricky Boggs of Wallingford, Kentucky, two sisters, Janet Roe (Rodney) of Morehead and Karen Sue Dodge (James “Skip”) of Maysville, four grandchildren, Jacob Kelley, Cole Kelley, Harlan Thomas and Riley Lyons, three nieces and two nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 26, 2024 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating. 

Burial will follow in the New Alfrey Cemetery at Farmers.

Visitation is after 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers will be Chris Thomas, Rad Lyons, Jacob Kelley, Cole Kelley, Brandon Pelfrey, James Dodge, Chris Holley and Albert Kidd.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Ricky Boggs and Rodney Roe.
