Jerry Mynhier Sr

Jerry Dale Mynhier Sr., 58, of Morehead, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 in the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.

He was born on July 8, 1955 in Morehead, Kentucky, a son of the late Fred Mynhier and Bertha Davis Mynhier Sexton.

Jerry was a retired construction and concrete worker.

He was of the Baptist Faith and a member of the Eagles Club and American Legion.

Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Mynhier and two sisters, Janet Collins and Carolyn Williams.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Dale Mynhier, Jr. and his companion, Anna Lewis of Morehead, two daughters, Stephanie Craft and her husband, Michael and Tiffany Mynhier and her companion, James Johnson all of Morehead, one brother, Larry Joe Mynhier of Cincinnati, Ohio, five sisters, Pam Easton, Brenda Walton, Wanda Weaver and Louise Quesinberry all of Morehead and Geraldine Weissinger of Lexington, two grandchildren, Geoffrey Craft and Cassandra Craft, his step-father, Collis Sexton of Morehead and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 4, 2014 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Steagall officiating.

Burial will follow in the Clearfield Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Friday.
