Jeffrey Paul Cox, 53, of the Maxey Flat Community in Fleming County, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at his home after an extended illness.
He was born on July 12, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio, a son of Walter and Betty Sesco Cox.
Jeffrey helped at Park Hills Grocery. He enjoyed fishing, watching movies, especially the Ghostbuster Movie, model cars, playing music, riding his bike and building furniture out of popsicle sticks.
Survivors include his parents, Walter and Betty Sesco Cox of Maxey Flat, one brother, Gregory (Sherry) Cox of Maxey Flat, three sisters, Kathy (Warren) Gray and Stephanie (Chris) Smith all of Beavercreek, Ohio and April (Dewayne) Curtis of Maxey Flat and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 25, 2012 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Jim DeAtley officiating.
Burial will follow in the Little Mary Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Gary Lucas, Warren Gray, Christopher Gray, Travis Huddleston, Roger Cox and John Cox.
