Jane Harvey McKinney Harris, 56, of North Tolliver passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at her residence after an illness of several weeks.
She was born on March 30, 1952 in West Liberty, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Chester and Beatrice Fugett Harvey.
Mrs. Harris was a CMA/CNA having worked at the Life Care Center for 29 years. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Morehead State University and also attended Lees Junior College. She was a devoted Christian having been a member of the Hayes Branch Community Church and she enjoyed people, working, reading the Bible and watching game shows.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Joe McKinney who passed away on December 15, 1985 and one son, Ryan Matthew McKinney.
Survivors include her husband, Ricky Harris, whom she married on December 11, 1999, of Morehead, two sons, Larry Michael McKinney and his wife, Tonya of Fleming-Neon, and Stephen Ray Harris of Morehead, one sister, Jean Harvey Keeton of Morehead, three grandchildren, Graham McKinney, Abbigail McKinney and Emily McKinney, her mother-in-law, Zella "Mumzie" Harris of Morehead, special friend, Ruby Boggs of Morehead and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 12, 2008 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Brother Ray Glover and Brother Don Rivers officiating. Burial will follow in the Trumbo Hill Cemetery. Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Larry Michael McKinney, Ray Crum, Jimmy Neace, Rob Strausbaugh, Tony Kronmueller and Chris Hampton.
