James A. "Bo" Royse, Age 42 of Morehead, passed away Thursday in the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born March 9, 1965 to Phyllis Porter Royse and the late Versal Royse. Bo was a former equipment operator for Queen City Railroad, enjoyed riding motorcycles and being with family and friends. He was of the church of God faith. He leaves to mourn his passing his family which includes his mother, Phyllis Porter Royse of Morehead, three daughters, Catessa Royse Terrell, Kisha Dawn Royse and Jamie Royse all of Morehead, one son Isaac Perry Royse of Morehead. One brother, Versal Royse, Jr. of Salt Lick, Kentucky. Two sisters, Melinda Lawhorn of Salt Lick and Janet Sue Madden of Morehead. A grandson, Aaron Michael Terrell. Also, several other relatives and friends who will miss him. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Elijah Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams-Turner Cemetery at Elliottville. Friends may call at Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Sunday. Serving as pall bearers will be Michael Madden, Josh Royse, Virgil Porter, Mitch Ross, Joe Ed Porter, Melvin Lawhorn and Brady Madden.
