James Edward Conley, 52, of Crain Creek Road, Wallingford, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at his home.
He was born on February 1, 1963 in Fleming County, Kentucky, a son of the late Clyde and Lue Raney Eldridge Conley.
He was a former employee of JW Wood and he enjoyed basketball, especially U.K. basketball.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Ray Conley and three sisters, Betty Jean Conley and twin infant sisters, Maxene Conley and Irene Conley.
Survivors include his wife, Shari Weaver Conley, whom he married on July 29, 1983, two sons, Jamie Conley and Jason Clyde Conley both of Wallingford, one brother, Eddie Conley of Lancaster, four sisters, Madeline McKee of Muses Mill, Mary Pendland of Mt. Carmel, Cathy Wilson and Brenda Conley both of Morehead, one grandson, J. J. Conley and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 8, 2015 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Sister Beulah Weaver officiating.
Burial will follow in the Big Run Cemetery at Wallingford.
Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
