Jackie Tackett

Jackie Lee ("Jack") Tackett, 64, passed away Friday, February 29, 2008 in the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born on September 25, 1943 in Menifee County, Kentucky, a son of the late Charles Edison Tackett and Viola Johnson Tackett.
Mr. Tackett was a former timber cutter and he enjoyed woodworking.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis Tackett and George Tackett and two sisters, Lula Myrtle Bailey and Wanda Warren Gollihue.
Survivors include one son, Eddie Tackett of Florida, three brothers, Glenn Tackett and Marvin Ratliff both of Morehead and Herschel ("Butch") Tackett of Mt. Sterling, one sister, Elizabeth Milkau of Northlake, Illinois and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Monday, March 3, 2008 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery at Midland. Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Sunday.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
