Mr. Jackie Lee Bartley, 64 of Muses Mill in Fleming County, passed away Saturday evening at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on February 17, 1955 to the late Hoover and Dollie Bartley.
Jackie was a retired coal miner having worked for Inferno Coal Company and was the former manager of Moore and White Sawmill in Vanceburg.
He enjoyed life on his farm, spending time with his beloved family, friends and dogs, watching westerns, four wheeling and cheering on his favorite basketball team the Kentucky Wildcats.
Survivors include his wife, Pam McHugh Bartley, three children, Brandi (Heather Sherman) Bartley of Bellevue, Ohio, Emily (Ike) Redden of Bloomington, Indiana and Gus Bartley of Muses Mill. Two sisters, Joyce Ramey of Lexington, Kentucky and Trulla (Tom) Gaddis of Cartersville, Georgia. Two grandchildren, Cruz Redden and Madeline Curdie. Also several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends
Graveside services and burial will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Tuesday in the St. Patrick's Cemetery in Washington, Kentucky
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 4:00 p.m. Monday.
Serving as pall bearers will be Gus Bartley, Ike Redden, Dr. Tom McHugh, Terry Pigg, Joe Surmont and Jim Compton.
