Mrs. Imogene Engle Stegall, 72, of Skaggs Lane - Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2009 in the Fleming County Hospital.
She was born on March 21, 1937 in Morgan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Robert Boyd Engle and Alene Blankenship Engle.
Mrs. Stegall was a homemaker. She was a member of the Morehead First Apostolic Church and was well known as an excellent cook. Mrs. Stegall enjoyed sewing, going to auctions and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Stegall, who passed away on January 2, 2003, two brothers, Boyd Engle and Bob Lewis and one sister, Oleta Jones.
Survivors include four sons, Allen Ray Stegall and his wife, Dorothy, Tony Stegall and his wife, Karen, Robert Stegall and his wife, Andrea and Chris Stegall and his wife, Diana all of Morehead, two daughters, Sharron Weaver and her husband, Gene of Wallingford and Anita Winkleman and her husband, Darrell of Elliott County, one brother, Junior Lewis of Morgan County, one sister, Ethel Pearl Johnson of Gratis, Ohio, fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 27, 2009 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Binion officiating. Burial will follow in the Caudill Cemetery at Cranston. Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Friday.
Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.
