Hubert Earl Glover, 89, of Holly Fork Road, Morehead, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020 St. Claire HealthCare.
He was born on March 22, 1931 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of the late Elmer and Sarah McClurg Glover.
Hubert was a self-employed construction worker.
He attended the Holly Fork Freewill Baptist Church and Upper Tygart Freewill Baptist Church.
Hubert enjoyed animals, especially dogs and cows, his farm, farming, gardening, flowers, serving the public and witnessing for the Lord. He loved everyone.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Milton Glover and Jr. Glover and two sisters, Georgia Glover and Lois Glover.
Survivors include his daughter, Donna Glover Helphenstine of Morehead, the mother of his daughter, Dorothy Archer of Morehead, four sisters, Madge Glover of Indiana, Charlotte Glover of Ohio, Barbara Glover of Florida and Vicie Glover of Utah, four grandchildren, Scott Helphenstine, Michael McClurg, Sonya Floyd and Jocelyn Hargreaves and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 30, 2020 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Ray Glover and Brother Monroe Craig officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hogge Cemetery at Cranston.
Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Scott Helphenstine, Michael McClurg, Bobby Fitzpatrick, Delbert Hardeman and Willis Glover.
