Mrs. Helen Hardin Maze, 69, of Salt Lick, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012 in the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.

She was born on May 15, 1942 in Morehead, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Ruford and Peachie Johnson Hardin.

Mrs. Maze was a retired nursing assistant having worked at Hilltop Lodge and the Morehead Clinic. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed cooking and working in flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Ray Goodman and one son, Jeffery Wayne Goodman, who passed away on June 28, 2004,

Survivors include her husband, Clifford Maze, two sons, Timmy Ray Goodman of Salt Lick and Mike (Barbara) Gregory of Morehead, one daughter, Vicki (Kelly) Curtsinger of Nicholasville, three step-sons, Johnny (Marilyn) Maze and Randy (Marcia) Maze all of Salt Lick and Burl Maze of Lexington, two grandchildren, Nicole Curtsinger and Joshua Curtsinger, two step-grandchildren, Jared Maze and Whitney Maze and one step-great-grandchild, Jackson Maze.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 25, 2012 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Kidd officiating.

Burial will follow in the Polksville Cemetery in Bath County.

Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Friday.

Pallbearers will be Timmy Ray Goodman, Mike Gregory, Kelly Curtsinger, Joshua Curtsinger, Jimmy Roberts, Glen Stevens and Mike Jones.
