Harvey Leo Cooper, 79 of Hillsboro, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at his home. He was born July 2, 1945, in Plummers Mill, Kentucky to the late Ottis Wilbur Cooper and Dolly Ethel Masters Cooper. 

Harvey was retired from A. O. Smith Corporation and was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart Award for wounds received during his time in service. He was a member of the Crain Creek Christian Church, the D.A.V. and enjoyed fishing, golf and hunting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Millard L. Cooper and a nephew, Ottis Rickey Cooper.

Survivors include a niece, Debra Cooper of Hillsboro, sister-in-law, Linda Conley Cooper of Hillsboro, a great niece, Kami Cooper Gibson and her husband Nick of West Liberty, Kentucky. Also, a niece-in-law, Tammy Cooper of West Liberty, Kentucky.

At his request services will be private.
