Harold Warren Gulley, Age 81 of Cranston Road, Morehead, passed away Friday evening, July 24, 2009 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 9, 1928 in Rowan County, Kentucky to the late Harve and Flora Buckner Gulley.
Mr. Gulley was a retired logger, a member of the Apostolic Community Church in Flemingsburg and enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes and spending time with his family.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Flora Esther Oney Gulley. Four brothers, Alvie Gulley, Avery Gulley, Wilson Gulley and Elbert Gulley. Four sisters, Elnora Nickell, Arlene Fraley, Faye Brown and Barbara Lewis.
Survivors include, three sons, Harold Gene (Charleen) Gulley, Thomas Dale (Connie) Gulley and Matthew Todd (Trina) Gulley all of Morehead. Three daughters, Connie Susan (Cliff) Stacey of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, Peggy Joy (Ron) Stacey of Humble, Texas and Brenda Lee (Roy) Gilkison of Morehead. A special friend, Kathleen Hanshaw of Olive Hill, Kentucky. Three brothers, Carl Gulley of Muncie, Indiana, Allen Gulley of Richmond, Indiana and Howard Gulley of Morehead. Nine Grandchildren, Craig (Rebecca) Stacey, Kevin (Sally) Stacey, Jenny (Bobby) Price, Tiffany Stacey, Matthew (Lesleigh) Stacey, Dustin (Lacey) Gulley, Brad (Kari) Gulley, Dakota Gilkison and Bethany Gilkison. Five Great-Grandchildren, Kadence Gulley, Auston Price, Kobey Price, Skylar Price and Ava Grace Stacey.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 27, 2009 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. O. D. Rudd and Rev. Edward Messer officiating.
Burial will follow in the Clark Cemetery on Cranston Road.
Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Sunday, July 26, 2009 at the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home.
Pall Bearers will be Dustin Gulley, Brad Gulley, Matthew Stacey, Dakota Gilkison, Craig Stacey and Jack Gulley.
