Hannah Parish

Hannah Jase Parish, 3 year old daughter of Mia Dawn Conway and Jason Parish of Morehead, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio from complications from treatments for AML.

She was born on October 25, 2014 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky.

Hannah was definitely a child of God.

She loved life and always found ways to live life to the fullest, making the best of every day.  Hannah loved Curious George; Disney Princesses; animals, especially birds, pigs and turtles; going to the zoo; school buses; being outside; and planting and picking flowers.  She loved visiting with her neighbors, who had a pond with fish, chickens, ducks, cats and dogs.  She also loved visiting the barn.

Hannah was mannerly and polite.  She loved being around other children and loved spending time with her family and her dog, Jack.

Hannah had special words for certain things.  She called her tablet her “Munt-Munt” and milk, “Ka-Ka”.

She was preceded in death by infant twin siblings, her maternal great-grandfathers, Bobby Gene Conway and Casey Jones, her maternal great-grandmother, Anna Colleen Kent and her beloved doctor, Dr. Javier El-Bietar.

In addition to her parents, survivors include paternal grandparents, Bill Parish of Morehead and Carolyn Parish of Morehead, maternal grandparents, Susie Goodman of Morehead, Damon (Jill) Conway of Frenchburg and JR (Sue) Puckett of Morehead, maternal great-grandparents, Rachel Paulette Conway of Lafayette, Georgia, Janice Conway of Frenchburg and Mamaw Patty Glover and Johnny of Morehead, one brother, Colton Dallas Parish of Hebron, Kentucky, favorite cousin, who was like a brother, Riley (“Ri-Ri”) Donathan of Clearfield, special family, Kenneth and Edith Henderson (“Pap” and “Nan”) of Morehead, Vickie Farfan (“NeNe”) of Morehead and Patricia Puckett (“T-T”), doctors and nurses at University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of life service will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 8, 2018 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. John Ramsey officiating.  The family has requested that those attending wear something depicting Disney Princess, Curious George, Team Hannah or bright colors.

Burial will follow in the Conley Cemetery.

Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mia Dawn Conway, Jason Parish, Kenneth Henderson and Bill Parish.

Honorary pallbearers will be Riley Donathan, John Wright, JR Puckett, Vickie Farfan and Damon Conway.
