Glenn Tackett

Glenn Tackett, Age 71 of U. S. 60 East, Morehead, passed away Monday evening, October 25, 2010 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Morgan County, Kentucky on July 16, 1939, a son of the late Charles Edison and Pricie Viola Johnson Tackett.
Glenn was a retired logger and had worked for 17 A½ years as a foreman in a tool factory.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Slone Tackett, who passed away on May 20, 2009, one daughter, Wanda Faye Tackett, three brothers, Jackie Lee Tackett, George L. Tackett and Lewis Tackett and two sisters, Myrtle Bailey and Wanda Warren Gollihue.
Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Tackett of Chicago, Illinois and Debora Wylder of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, two sons, Jr. Tackett of Alaska and Jamie Tackett of Amarillo, Texas, one brother, Marvin Ratliff of Morehead, one sister, Elizabeth Milkau of Northlake, Illinois, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 28, 2010 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery.
Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Marvin Ratliff, Jeff French, Lonnie Plank, Bill Warren, James Fultz and Kenneth Henderson.
