Mrs. Glenda Hardin Roe Riley, 54, of Winchester formerly of Elliottville, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.
She was born on May 27, 1962 in Morehead, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Arlie Henry Hardin and Floreen Whitt Hardin.
Glenda had owned and operated Roe Grocery in Elliottville.
She was a member of the Church of God and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel Roe, who passed away in 1998 and one sister, Brenda Carroll.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Riley of Winchester, one step-son, William Riley of Harrodsburg, three brothers, Linville Hardin of Aragon, Georgia, Randy Hardin of Olive Hill and Dean Hardin of Morehead, one sister, Leatha Nell Teenair of Spartanburg, South Carolina, two step-grandsons, River Wayne Riley and Eli Jackson Riley, Taylor Ray Zimmerman, who she babysit and loved like a grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 18, 2017 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Tim Rhodes officiating.
Burial will follow in the Roe Family Cemetery at Elliottville.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Adkins, Gale Thornsberry, David Zimmerman, Clinton Blackburn, Philip Hashieder, John Porter and Jeff Porter.
Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
