George DeHart

George Douglas DeHart, 54, of Morehead passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at his home.
He was born on February 7, 1962 in Morehead, Kentucky, a son of Cobern and Sue Flannery DeHart.
George had worked as a sheet metal journeyman for B. J. Brown Sheet Metal.
He was a graduate of Rowan County High School and a member of the MS Society. George loved building and racing race cars, fishing and having cook outs with his family.
Survivors include his parents, Cobern and Sue DeHart, one daughter, Keri DeHart (Anthony Moore), three brothers, Dave DeHart, Danny DeHart and Dale DeHart, one sister, Diana White and three granddaughters, Taylor Moore, Kamiron Moore and Raelynne Moore all of Morehead.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Siloam First Church of God with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating.
Visitation will be after 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the church.
The family has set-up a “Go Fund Me Account” to assist them with their expenses.
