Geneva Brown

Mrs. Geneva Fultz Brown, 86, of Morehead, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

She was born on March 19, 1932 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Dewey and Nellie Barricks Fultz.

Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and a member of the Elliottville Baptist Church.

She enjoyed quilting, cooking and taking care of her flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Brown, five brothers, Sam Chandler Fultz, Jackie Fultz, Plummer Fultz, Dewey “Bugs” Fultz, Jr. and Johnny Franklin Fultz, Sr. and three sisters, Alice Lee Clark, Medie Kidd and Nervil Berndt.

Survivors include her her husband,Claude K. Brown, a daughter, Sonja Guenther of Littleton, Colorado, daughter-in-law, Pamela Brown of Camden, Ohio, four brothers, Vernon Ray Fultz of Frankfort and Paul Edward Fultz, Dewayne Fultz and Jimmy Fultz all of Morehead, four sisters, Gladys Adkins, May Fultz, Sue Litton and Vera Clark all of Morehead, two grandsons, Colin Guenther and Lee Guenther, two great-grandchildren, Aiden Guenther and Carson Guenther and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 26, 2018 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Willie Sturgill officiating.

Burial will follow in the Clark Cemetery at Cranston.

Visitation is from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Colin Guenther, Lee Guenther, Ray Fultz, Gill Litton, James Dean Cook and Tom McCarty.
