Garland Clifford “Cliff” Mullins, 77 of Holly Fork Road, Morehead, passed away Saturday evening July 9, 2016 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born June 16, 1939 in Pike County, Kentucky to the late Lonnie and Garnett Ratliff Mullins. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Vivian Sweeten Mullins, the mother of his two daughters. Also, one sister, Letha Flanery .
Cliff attended the Holly Fork Free Will Baptist Church and was the former Pastor of the Madera Gospel Mission and was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church in Madera, California. He was a graduate of the Fresno Bible College and had taught there many years. He was also the chaplain of the Madera Fire Department and was the Executive Director of the Rescue Mission in Madera, California.
Cliff was a lifelong minister, pastor and missionary. He enjoyed his work with the church, spending time with his family and doing yardwork and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Manda Glover Mullins, Two daughters, Theresa Mullins Amick and April Mullins Aldrich (Jason) all of Marysville, Washington. Two step-sons; Johnny Glover (Brandy) of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Donnie Glover (Misty) of Middletown, Ohio. One brother, Estill Mullins (Mary) of Pikeville, Kentucky. Three sisters: Gwen Johnson (Homer) of Morehead, Kentucky; Brenda Rowe (Ruben) of Wabash, Indiana and Linda Johnson (Richard) of Pikeville, Kentucky. Eleven Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and church family.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Jim Porter, Rev. Bobby Day and C. J. Amick officiating.
Burial will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Mullins Cemetery on Bowling Fork in Pikeville.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation is after 6 P.M. Monday July 11, 2016 at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead.
