Flora Logan

Mrs. Flora Brown Logan, Age 92 of 421 Bishop Court Morehead, passed away Saturday morning August 9, 2008 at her home after an illness of several weeks.

She was the widow of the late Eugene M. Logan.

Mrs. Logan was born in Rowan County, Kentucky on June 7, 1916 to the late George W. and Sadie Jane Clark Brown. Besides her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Willie Brown and Ernest Brown and three sisters, Grace Yoder, Geraldine Crum and Wilma Hadwin.

Mrs. Logan was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed walking, working in her flowers and collecting rocks.

Surviving are her children, Woody Logan and his wife Jane of Muncie, Indiana and Rhonda Bailey of Morehead. Four brothers, Harold Brown, Claude Brown and Fred Brown all of Morehead, Kentucky and Wilford Brown of Flatwoods, Kentucky. Three sisters; Geneva Whittle and Juanita Cooper of Morehead and Madeline Sewell of Muncie, Indiana. Three Grandchildren; Seven Great-Grandchildren and One Great-Great-Grandchild. Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 14, 2008 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Minister Jesse Perry officiating.

Burial will follow in the Clark Cemetery at Cranston.

Friends may call at the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday.

Family and Friends will serve as Pall Bearers.
