Erna Kidd, 74, of Pleasant Valley passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born on July 16, 1932 to the late John Will and Dora Kidd.
Ms. Kidd was a former employee of Cowden Manufacturing Company and a retired nurse's aid from St. Claire Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the Upper Dry Creek Church of God and enjoyed quilting, vegetable gardening and her family, especially her great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Leslie Kidd, Delbert Kidd and Virgil Kidd and three sisters, Myrtle Kidd, Stella Workman and Bertha Adkins.
Survivors include two sisters, Edna Catron and her husband, Talmadge of Clearfield and Edith Catron of Mansfield, Ohio, three nieces, Janice Hatton and her husband, Nelson of Clearfield, Brenda Burton of Morehead and Kathy Catron of Mansfield, Ohio, two nephews, Dewayne Kidd of Springfield, Ohio and Rick Catron of Mansfield and three great-nephews, Brandon Hatton, Byron Burton and Dustin Kidd.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 26, 2007 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Madden and Rev. Steve Madden officiating. Burial will follow in the Sloan Cemetery in Morgan County. Visitation is after 4:00 P.M. Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Ray Lewis, Charlie Pruitt, Talmadge Catron, Paul Perkins, Rick Catron, Gary Madden, Steve Madden, Pete Davis and Rick Littleton.
