Mr. Edward Lambert
, 81, of Louisiana, Missouri, formerly of Morehead, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana, Missouri.
He was born on December 9, 1932, in Morehead, Kentucky, a son of the late Delaine “Dock” and Minnie Moore Lambert.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Garnet B. Minor Lambert, granddaughter, MariJane Thomas, step-son, Junior Welch, three brothers, Russell Lambert, Claude Lambert and Curtis Lambert and four sisters, Virgie Manning, Myrtle Kidd, Gladys Blankenbecker and Gertrude Blankenbecker.
Survivors include two sisters, Maxine Butcher of Morehead and Florence Lykins of Frankfort, one daughter, Deanna Lambert of Louisiana, Missouri, two grandchildren, Zackary and Drake Lambert of Louisiana, Missouri, two step-daughters, Joann Welch of Louisiana, Missouri and Elizabeth Welch of Clarksville, Missouri, one step-son, Gary Welch of Clarksville, Missouri, twelve step-grandchildren and twenty-one step-great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 12, 2014 at the McDavid Cemetery.
There is no visitation.
