Mrs. Edna D. Whitt Ulrey, 91, of Morehead, passed away Wednesday morning, May 22, 2013 at her home after an illness of several weeks.
She was born on March 13, 1922 in Morgan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Walter and Effie Caskey Whitt.
Mrs. Ulrey was a homemaker. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #227 and she enjoyed playing cards.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy J. Ulrey, who passed away on June 4, 2000, two brothers, Bernard Whitt and Clyde Whitt and three sisters, Ina Edwards, Bernice Adkins and Bessie Whitt.
Survivors include her daughter, Joyce Kirk of Inverness, Florida, step-daughter, Mary Elizabeth Lambeth of Miami, Florida, granddaughter, Pamela Carol McDowell of Columbus, Ohio, step-grandson, Stephen Lambeth of Columbus, Ohio and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. David Starcher officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lee Cemetery.
Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Rick Edwards, Linville Riddle, Mark Caudill, Mike Gray, Curt Bowling and Randy Knipp.
