Mrs. Edith Riddle Goodman, Age 84 of Maher Drive, Morehead, passed away Friday evening, July 13, 2012 at her home after an extended illness.
She was born November 13, 1927 in Rowan County, Kentucky to the late Robert and Alice Foster Riddle.
Mrs. Goodman was retired from the Salon and Day Spa where she was the receptionist. She was a member of the Slab Camp Christian Church for over 64 years and enjoyed quilting, raising a garden, spending time with her family, cooking and working in her flowers.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Goodman on July 16, 1995. Two brothers Clifford Bowman and Ernest Riddle, six sisters, Ocie Brown, Flora Perkins, Nora Pierce, Gracie Bowman, Leona Jennings and Irene Tackett.
Survivors include Three sons, Donald (Shirley) Goodman and Ronald (Maria) Goodman both of Morehead and Larry (Charlene) Goodman of Niles, Ohio. One daughter, Judith (Wayne) Black of Morehead. Three sisters, Zelma Perkins and Donna Jean Wallace both of Morehead and Thelma Young of Jasper, Georgia.
Eight Grandchildren, Eleven Great-Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 16, 2012 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Moore officiating.
Burial will follow in the McClain-Arnold Cemetery.
Visitation at Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home is after 5:00 P.M. Sunday.
Pall Bearers will be Timmy Black, Peggy and Tony Moore, Sheila and Kevin McKenzie, Heather and Billy Breeze, Lisa Litton, Carrie Maky and Terry Goodman.
