Drue Gay

Mr. Drue Robert Gay, 47, of Olive Hill, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Smithfield Foods, Inc. in Grayson, as a result of an industrial accident.

He was born in Ellensburg, Washington on November 16, 1964.

Drue was an electrician for Smithfield Foods and United States Army Veteran. He was associated with Jehovah's Witnesses, a Union Steward and a foundation Appaloosa horse breeder. Drue enjoyed farming, spending time with his family and was a loyal and loving husband.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa Calnan Gay, his parents, Dave and Rose Bare of Ellensburg, Washington, two sons, Luke Benson of Alberta, Canada and Kevin Belmont of Morehead, two daughters, Risa Benson of Alberta, Canada and Rachael Zenobi of Port Angeles, Washington, five brothers, David Gay of Portland, Oregon, Kelly Bare, Keith Bare and Derek Bare all of Ellensburg, Washington and Guy Jones of Washington, two sisters, Lisa Gay and Shawna Gay both of Portland, Oregon and three grandchildren, Mishaela Zenobi, Gabriel Belmont and Aliyah Belmont.

Memorial services will be conducted at 8:00 P.M. Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 660 Park View Lane, Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Rodney Haney officiating.
