Donnie Scott Riddle, Jr., 37, of Flemingsburg, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011 at his home after an extended illness.
He was born in Montgomery County, Kentucky on November 18, 1973, a son of Cynthia Nesbitt and the late Donnie Scott Riddle.
Mr. Riddle worked as a welder, prior to becoming disabled. He was a graduate of Rowan County High School and enjoyed fishing and camping.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donnie Scott Riddle.
Survivors include his mother, Cynthia Nesbitt of Flemingsburg, a sister, Mary (Larry) Hampton of Morehead, two brothers, Dan Haines of Flemingsburg and Joe (Susan) Wallace of Salt Lick, two nephews, John Hampton of Morehead and Dylan (Haines) Boggs of Mansfield, Ohio, one niece, Alison Haines of Flemingsburg, one great-niece, Addison Hampton of Morehead, paternal uncles, Tony (Betty) Riddle and Phillip (Louise) Riddle both of Owingsville, paternal aunt, Delores Riddle, maternal uncles, David Nesbitt and Mark Nesbitt both of Louisville and maternal aunt, Susan (Tony) Cantrell of Ocklawaha, Florida.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, April 30, 2011 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Brother Clint Stricklen officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bradley Cemetery at Solider.
Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Robbie Mynhier, David Puckett, Derek Conn, Gary Riddle, Terry Riddle, Tracy Riddle, Phillip Riddle, Jr. and Elwood Caudill, Jr.
