Donna Gay Faulkner Baldridge

Donna Gay Faulkner Baldridge, 77 of Clearfield, Kentucky passed away Tuesday evening, January 9, 2024 at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead after a brief illness. She was born in Rowan County, Kentucky June 23, 1946 to the late Elwood "Bill" Faulkner and Bernice Crager Faulkner.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Cecil Baldridge on October 8, 2015. Also, one sister Patty Hamm and her Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law whom she was especially close to Charlie and Corda Bowman Baldridge.

Donna was a graduate of Rowan County High School, attended the Charity Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, singing, attending church, reading her bible, gardening, flowers and most importantly spending time with her family. She was retired from the Rowan County School System where she worked as a cook at Clearfield Elementary.

Survivors include two sons, David Baldridge and his wife Jeny Ginter Baldridge and Lanny Ray Baldridge and his wife Candie all of Clearfield. One brother, Lanny Mason Faulkner of Illinois. Seven grandchildren: Christina Baldridge Abney and her husband Chris, Mason Baldridge, Shaina Baldridge, Trey Baldridge, Madison White, Kelsey White and Dalton White. One great-grandchild, Bentley Caudill. Also, three nieces, three nephews and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, January 12, 2024 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Pastor Rob Kidd and Pastor Larry Hamm officiating.

Burial will follow in the Baldridge Cemetery in Clearfield.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 12 Noon, Friday until the time of the service.

Serving as pall bearers will be Bobby Callihan, Dalton White, Cody Caudill, Chris Abney, Scotty Purnell and David Weaver.
