Donald Workens, 78, of Olive Hill, Kentucky passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 in his residence.
Mr. Workens was born April 17, 1938 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Harry S. Workens and Ruth Margaret Stiefvater,
He worked in construction as an independent contractor.
Mr. Workens enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, and building houses.
In addition to his parents Mr. Workens was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, a step daughter, Rozena Clark and husband Chalmer, and wife Nora Jones Workens.
He is survived by his fiancé Wendy Schineler, four stepsons, Mike Mooney and wife Nancy of Marion, Ohio, Jerry Mooney and wife Doris of Delaware, Ohio, Mitchell Mooney and wife Dianne of Delaware, Ohio, Grover Mooney of Delaware, Ohio, two step daughters Lori Lane and husband Bernie of Marion, Ohio,4 grandchildren, Kimberly Mathews of Grayson, Linda Clark of Lexington, John Clark of Marion, Ohio, Jess Clark of Marion, Ohio and many more great and great great grandchildren.
