Mr. Delbert Thornsberry, Age 72 of Morehead, passed away Friday, May 21, 2010 in the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
He was born in Rowan County, Kentucky on November 9, 1937 to the late Virgil and Rena Stidham Thornsberry Fultz.
Besides his parents his was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Thornsberry.
Mr. Thornsberry was a retied carpenter, a veteran having served in the United States Army, a member of the Morehead American Legion Post 126, the Forty and Eight and was also a Kentucky Colonel.
Survivors include his wife Nancy Howard Thornsberry. Two sons; Doug Thornsberry of Nicholasville, Kentucly and Robbie Adams of Morehead, Kentucky. Two daughters; Debbie Thornsberry Pike and Deloris Thornsberry both of Frankfort, Kentucky. Two brothers; Donald Thornsberry of Morehead, Kentucky and Kenneth Thornsberry of South Vienna, Ohio.
Seven Grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 24, 2010 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rayburn Bailey officiating.
Full military rites will be conducted by the Morehead American Legion Post No. 126.
Burial will follow in the Howard Family Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home after 5:00 P.M. Sunday.
