Delbert Clifton Baldridge, 87, of the Fox Valley community in Fleming County, Kentucky, passed away on July 9, 2023, at his residence.
Born in Clearfield, Kentucky, on March 4, 1936, his parents were the late Estill Baldridge and the late Betty Bowman Baldridge.
Clifton was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Donna Castle Baldridge, on September 9, 2015.
Clifton was a well-known farmer and heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed restoring antique farm equipment, helping his neighbors, and tending the farm. He was very creative and could build anything, including remodeling the home where he lived. He loved to visit with family and friends, especially his granddaughter Brook Moore, whom they raised and her children, Branson, Brinley and Gracyn who were the light of his life.
Survivors include one son, Brian Baldridge of Hillsboro, Kentucky; three daughters, Debra Johnson of Mansfield, Ohio, Vicki Long of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and Jennifer Proctor (Eric) of Snowflake, Arizona; one step-son, Billy Castle (Connie) of Shelby Ohio; two step-daughters, Sheila Mathias of Plymouth, Ohio and Joanna Hoskins of Shiloh Ohio; ten grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Chalmer Baldridge, Eugene Baldridge, and Pauline Schiffer and one step-daughter, Robin Castle.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 13, 2023 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating.
Visitation is after 12:00 Noon until the hour of service Thursday.
Clifton will be laid to rest in the Bowman Family Cemetery at Clearfield, Kentucky.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
