David Jerome Cosby

David Jerome Cosby, 75, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024 at his residence.

He was born on January 12, 1949 in Sturgis, Michigan, a son of the late Omer F. and L. Ethelyn Daniels Cosby.

David was a retired truck driver and a graduate of Prairie Heights High School in LaGrange, Indiana.

He enjoyed NASCAR, walking, bike riding, farming, horses, drag races and muscle cars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lewis Cosby, who passed away on September 1, 2016 and his brother, Omer Cosby, Jr.

Survivors include one son, Brandon Cosby and his wife, Rebecca of Salt Lick, Kentucky, one daughter, Tamara Toy and her husband, Eddie of Flemingsburg, Kentucky and one granddaughter, Eden Cosby.

Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the Williams-Turner Cemetery in Elliottville with Pastor Justin Perkins officiating.

There is no visitation.
