Danny Harris, Sr.

Danny Ray Harris, Sr., 59, of Morehead, passed away Monday morning, November 8, 2021 at St. Claire HealthCare.

He was born on June 16, 1962 in Ashland, Kentucky, a son of Emma Black Harris of Morehead and the late Ernest Harris.

Mr. Harris enjoyed working, fishing, yard sales and collecting pop bottles.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ronda Smith Harris, who passed away on March 27, 2017 and two sisters, Diane Offill and Carolyn Harris.

In addition to his mother, survivors include two sons, Danny Harris, Jr. (Mary) of Fairbanks, Alaska and Justin Harris (Jennifer Bush) of Salt Lick, two brothers, Johnny Harris and Mervil Harris both of Morehead, two sisters, Eva Carter (Tenny) and Pauline Bryant all of Morehead and six grandchildren, Landen Harris, Ethan Harris, Maverick Harris, Maddison Harris, Maci Harris and Laci Harris.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Elijah Sexton officiating.

Burial will follow in the Black Cemetery.

Visitation is after 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
