Mrs. Cora Ellen Barker Walsh, 82, of Winchester formerly of Haldeman and Mt. Sterling, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in the Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester.
She was born on April 2, 1932 in Haldeman, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Noah and Lidda Puckett Barker.
Mrs. Walsh was a retired medical records and admission clerk for Mary Chiles Hospital, where she had worked for over 30 years.
She enjoyed cooking and being a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Randolph Walsh, who passed away on October 13, 2010, sister, Geneva Kissick, half-sister, Opal Conley and several infant siblings.
Survivors include one son, Randy Walsh of Lexington, one daughter, Terri Stephens of Winchester, half-sister, Lucy Hinton of Mansfield, Ohio and two grandchildren, Jeremy Stephens and Melisha Nicole Cartwright.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 17, 2014 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Cruse officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dawson Cemetery on Open Fork.
Visitation is after 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Randy Walsh, Mike Stephens, Jeremy Stephens, Roger Hinton, Wes Cartwright and Bob Stephens.
