Connie Keeton

Connie Ann (McCoy) Keeton, 64, of Morehead, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at St. Claire Healthcare in Morehead following a brief illness.

She was born on April 7, 1957, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to Gilbert Russell ("Gib") McCoy of Wallingford, Kentucky and the late Opal Stamm McCoy.

Connie married the love of her life Rufus Keeton, who also passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021.

She was a homemaker and devoted mother, who loved her children and grandchildren dearly.  Connie loved the Lord and enjoyed attending Clearfield Baptist Church and Charity Freewill Baptist Church.  In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, cooking and being outdoors.

In addition to her husband and mother, she was preceded in death by one brother, Rusty McCoy and one sister, Loretta McCoy.

In addition to her father, survivors include her daughter, Kim Weaver (David) of Morehead, Kentucky, her son, Glennis Mitchell Hamm of Newton, Kansas, step-daughter, Ruby Spencer (Mike) of Portsmouth, Ohio, two sisters, Sandra Florence (Mike) of Ewing, Kentucky and Linda McCoy of Vanceburg, Kentucky, one brother, Jack McCoy (Betsy) of Petersville, Kentucky, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 15, 2021, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Pastor Rob Kidd and Pastor Harlan Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Esham Cemetery in Lewis County.

Visitation is after 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as casket bearers.
